Hey guys, I live in Colorado and I have to get an emissions test and I don't know how to pass or if I will pass. I have a 91 240sx with a SR20DET, any help will be appreciated thanks.

You are going to get flamed big time on this one..

The SR20 is an illegal engine. It won't or should I say shouldn't pass because it was never made in the US.

To Caveat that however. I would have been able to pass emissions in Utah if it had an EGR valve (Japanese does not, but I believe European spec does). If its only a sniff test, you should pass quite easily (sr is pretty clean). I have heard denatured alcohol added to the tank will help too (not confirmed on that one)

but if its visual your screwed.

Most of the guys on here aren't very nice, and you're going to get some flack from them for not searching, be forwarned.
