300zx brakes on s13
So far I have front and back calipers, 300zx master, rear and front lines. My questions are:
Do I need the rear backing plate and shoe set up? (I am running an inline hydro) If I use just my front 300 calipers should I swap the master or leave the s13 one in? If I don't need the 300zx backing plates I will probably just install all the calipers with new shoes and rotors. I am just unsure as to what is truly needed. Thanks guys! |

If you have a way to keep the hydro ebrake on when parked you won't need it, just don't forget hydro's don't stay on without modification.

it is possible that the seals on either the master cylinder, or the caliper itself, will become fatigued from extended use of constant pressure. personally i have never seen this actually happen, but it is another thing to consider. i would recommend parking the vehicle in gear. |

Huh did not even think of that, best advice is to carry wheel chocks as well because parking in gear is not safe on a hill unless you have other things to stop the car as well. If you have all the parts just put in the ebrake and be done with worrying.
