Right now im looking for what cams you would run(if its even worth it) on a mildly modded S14 SR powered S14. I myself am not looking for anything radical because the car will be used as a daily driver/weekend track/drift car. Would I run into any problems by going with Tomei's 256 duration w/ 11.5mm lift as far as idle and daily driving? I'm not looking for crazy hp, 320-350hp TOPS.

The HKS cams are nice. I have a few friends that have them in their SR, good investment I believe.

JWT S4's or S5's

hks step 1's, or if you like crappy idle go for 2's,

ehh i would go with s3's simply because with s4's you loose some torque and s5's dont they require like new valve springs? *forgot*

Seems like the HKS cams are highly reccomended.

mjjstang - Are you running the step 1 cams? I really don't want the crappy idle.

Step 2 HKS requires new valve springs too, IIRC..

Shouldn't this be in Tech?
