Manual Swap Qeustions

I need a step by step website or something to do a manual sawp... my freind has an auto 240 S13.. and a complete manual car with a blown engine.. 2 cars... and i have searched im having trouble finding a website just forums so far... and do i need to lift the engine...?

You gotta take the bottom bolts off the engine to tranny. Remove those pieces, then remove the cover to the tranny. From there you need to remove the torque converter bolts, rotate the crank pulley with a socket to turn the engine. then you need to remove the rest of the bolts to the tranny from engine, remove the driveshaft, and then remove the crossmember and drop the tranny after removing the 2 lines, and all the sensors. You may need a jack to remove the Auto Tranny its a lil heavy...or put something under it and kick it off if you arnt gonna use it again. Be safe.

There is a FAQ on 240sx.org and on this site in the FAQ/Archives section, i think its on page 2. I would like you but im lazy. good luck

take off all the auto stuff. install is the reverse of removal.
