Does anyone have this clutch? Or had experiences with it? I'm trying to decide on if i should get it or not. Im going Ka-t pretty soon and want to know if this clutch could withstand the beating of "drifting" & autocross. I'm planning to try to push around 350hp and same amount of torque. Oh yea and I'm going to use a fidanza flywheel with whatever clutch i get. So yea if you guys could help me out with some POSITIVE input that would be great.

Oh yea i have done numerous searches on this clutch but i have only found people recommending them & not much on how they perform.

Dont have the clutch, but i know max personally. Ive seen his clutches in a couple cars in magazines if that gives any kind of feedback.

hey i use one of Max's clutches. i wrote a review on it that one forum where you write reviews on shops/companies... i forgot what the forum's called.

the clutch pedal isnt as stiff as other performance clutches ive felt, so it's in no way dreadful for daily driving. i actually really like the pedal feel. the clutch doesnt catch so hard that its like impossible to park and backup slowly, but i havnt had much experience with other aftermarket clutches other than ogura. i personally love the clutch, i have a stock KA and its super good for drifting, it kicks hard when you want it to. The clutch has only slipped on me like twice, but that was when i was doing N>ebrake180>1st gear shit, and even then i wasnt sure if it was the clutch. hope this helps.

The only reason why your pedal would be soft is cause you must have got the single diaphram.
Get the double diaphram.
Im running a double diaphram 4 puck. easy to drive, grabs real hard. Hasnt slipped on me yet.
I lost max business card, but u can find him on club4ag.

As far has power ratings, if you got double diaphram like me, basically will hold double the stock power.

I think max has a deal that you get discounts if your car makes his clutch slip, or deystorys it. Don't hold me to it.

his cluthces are the shit. i think one of his buddies may be on this forum, driftwerks? somethin like that. ive tried one on an s13 and another on an ae86. the best clutches ive ever experienced..by far.

Like stated above: kicks when u want it to. I have single diaphram too.

We'll see if it breaks on me.. if that deal is true..

i got one of the first dual diaphrams. at first he wasn't even going to sell it, but decided to try it out. It uses copper pucks and holds up quite well. I'm running this with a fidanza flywheel and it's awesome. Can be custom spec'd as his clutches are built on order (not off the shelf stuff, at least KA wasn't).

I've tried bayarea240's clutch out, its fuckin monstrous... stiffer than my JDM Mystery shit, which is super stiff.

Grabs nice n hard too.

Illegal Garage clutches are GREAT. Clutch kicked the hell out of it all the time, never had any problems -- EVER.
