![]() I have a 300zx brake conversion for my 1989 nissan 240sx coupe. I know you have to get diffrent rims for them to clear the calipers. Someone told me i could use wheel spacers and they are pretty relaible. I was woundering if this is possible and what you guys think. I have some info on the bottom of the page on it.
Spacer Spec's. Bolt Pattern: 4/114.3 Center Bore: 66.2 Longer Stud Bolts Included with Nissan Standard 12x1.25 Thread Type. 5mm, 15mm, & 20mm spacers are DRS Type. 25mm are DRM type. These wheel spacers move the wheel out from the hub, effectively widening the stance of the vehicle and lowering its roll center. This simple modification increases lateral stability, which in turn provides improved handling, greater safety and of course, the sleek style you've been looking for. These wheel spacers are made from a proprietary aluminum/magnesium alloy which is not only incredibly strong, but also very light weight (up to 70% lighter than a comparable steel product). TRAK+ wheel spacers are then hard anodized to ensure a tough, durable finish that is resistant to chipping, scratching and oxidation. Hub centric for the highest level of accuracy, TRAK+ wheel spacers are 100% made in Germany under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance standards, and meet the rigid safety criteria of the German TÜV. Whether you want improved handling, increased safety or simply want your car to make a statement about your individual style, TRAK+ wheel spacers can help you accomplish your goal. The outside diameter of the tire sidewall is usually the widest point of your tire and wheel package. Place a straight edge flush with the face of the tire, and using a ruler measure from the straight edge to the inside lip of the fender as show in image when you click to enlarge. |

SEARCH...........! more then likely its wheel design, if it rubs against the caliper run a spacer.... if u dont want to run a space get a better wheel.... if u dont want to do either.. sell ur brakes and get q45...

Sounds like H&R spacers. I wouldn't expect any problems. They are a quality product.
