Question I hate bright LEDs, help me please

Ok, I've searched, I've tried the paper clip, I've tried the needle, the air compressor, nothing helps. When I *try* to use the washer nozzles, I get four lovely jets, only two of which actually hit the windshield. So now I just want to replace the nozzles, but all I can find are those damn APC things with the LEDs that blind other drivers. Without going to the stealership, where can I get some nice plain replacement nozzles for my poor dirty windowed 97 240?

Thanks in advance

dealer or you can go ghetto and make your own...I used garden water drippers for my nozzles when my carbon hood didnt come with the nozzles holes on them. Just cut a small piece out on the plastic trim underneat the hood and point it. Crazy glue the damn thing in place if you have to.

Err, thanks, but I'd rather not go ghetto, and I figured the dealer would charge me an insane price for a couple pieces of plastic that spray fluid on my windshield. But thanks anyways man.

I'll be headed to a couple junk yards this weekend that have a few 240's. I'll try to grab them for you. I should be able to throw em' in a plain envelope to mail them. If i score them, I'll leave you a message.

Or you can just clean your windows with the good ol' fashioned water in a bucket + towel method. Or just stop by your local gas station and use their squeegy thingies for free too.

$16.58 per nozzle for new OEM! Dealer will probably be a little more than that.

Mine haven't worked in two years, but then again I removed everything except the nozzles

Have you ever thought abut buying the LED nozzles, and NOT wiring them up? Seems like your complaint is pretty stupid since your issue with them involves doing extra work anyway.

why dont you just adjust the ones on the car. If you are getting 4 good streams of water then just adjust them to hit where you want to. you need a little tiny thing to put in the center hole and you can move the nozzles around.

or just deal with an occasionally dirty windshield? I havent had a working windshield squirter for a couple years now, and most of the time my wipers are all fuxored too, I'm still alive. but I hate driving west in the afternoon. Unless you drive through locust plagues often. Then you might wanna fix that.

I wish there was a junkyard near me, so I could go looking for a few of the things I need to replace, but I haven't been able to find one yet.

I'm in East Tennessee, we've got moths the size of birds here, and I hit them a lot. And honestly, I'd rather not support a company like APC by purchasing the LED junk.

if you use wax as you dry on the windshield, water just beads up together and slides away. i never use my wipers anymore. that stuff is golden.
