hey all, so in my 97 240sx auto, i ran into some problems a few years back with the gauges they completely read wrong. after trying to reset the needles i pulled out the pin and spring on the speedo.. so i thought screw it ill just buy aftermarket ones.

now that i have the gauges in front of me it doesn't seem to be as simple as i thought. right now my problem is with the speed/tach gauge i purchased from cyberdyne. i read throught a pdf on the stock cluster and connected the white wire (witch in the manual says to connect to the tan wire) to the red/yellow wire next to the red wire. after i finished the install i went through the setup process but after in motion and setting speed i got an error code for no sending unit..

any ideas or am i just completely flucking up?
