Came accross this on a different forum. My apologies if it's a repost and you saw it 10 years ago. Sure the dialogue and acting looks dated and cheesy but the drving and cars are pretty cool. I'd like to see the whole movie(s).

thats what i thought too... lol.

but damn. watching the shit talking and the start and then having 'running in the 90s' start up made me realize what a wasted opportunity the initial D movie was. it really can work in a live action movie.

Yeah, too bad about the Initial D movie. Who knows maybe it made a shit load of cash and was successful in Asia - it's intended market - enough so that they'll make another one. Only this time a good one.

My friend has this movie on his hard drive, its not all that great....and I think the music was edited cause it didn't have initial D music.

The Music in the some of them is Great.

The R33 one had some great 80s American Rock played by Japanese Rock band...interesting.

Yes that was Keiichi. He was in all those movies. Usually they would learn a lesson by a closs friend dying or something and he would show them that it is better to race on the track only. But yeah...that was him at the wheel of the truck.

I think thats legend of speed. That movie was the shiznet. Keiichi drifts that R32 all up in the dirt.

its freeway speedway or shuto something trials in japanese. legend of speed was mostly subarus and evos. it was cheesy but i liked it. i was considering buying the whole set of these movies but figured it would be a waste of money. after seeing that ZX vs GTR i kinda want to see the rest.

edit: just found out that yesasia.com has shuto kousoku box set 6 dvd in japanese w/ english subtitles for 19.49 add $5.51 and you get free shipping to US. I think i'm gunna get me a set

Showed some dudes sliding at a track, then cut to ugly people doing it, then back to drifting. It was korean, i think.
