HELP plz! S14 auto to manual swap, S13 driveshaft ok?

I have an auto 96 S14. I'm putting in a S13 manual tranny and driveshaft. I swapped out the tranny, installed the pedals and the last part I'm stuck on is installing the S13 manual driveshaft.

Do I have to buy a S14 manual driveshaft or what should I do?

Will the S13 manual driveshaft work in my S14?

Please look at the pic. The top driveshaft is a S13 manual one, I believe.

Thanks in advance.

Feel free to email me at [email protected].

S13 driveshaft will NOT work for a 5-speed swap on an S14.

You need an S14 5-speed driveshaft...it's that, or a custom one piece.

You may want to check with a driveshaft shop to see if they can do a custom one for you, or try looking for an S14 one. ABS may affect the lengh as well so make sure it mates up correctly.

The S13 and S14 shafts are slightly different.

Thanks guys.

I got shafted by the guy who sold me the car and the manual parts. He swore that it would all work. Its ok, because I know where he lives and where he works.

Bastard!!!

Go for a 1 piece aluminum from the driveshaft shop. Got mine and I love it. Increased throttle response. A+++
