I plan on going with the pro kits myself. When I do mine in a month or so, I plan on getting Tokico gas shocks/struts. As for experience, I haven't gotten them yet...but the install (if that's what you are getting at) should be pretty simple. Just do the rent-a-tool from autozone to get the spring compressor. As for the shocks and struts, they are pretty basic swaps...need more detail, you might want to pick up a chilton's. What do you mean by alignment pieces?

A 1.2 inch drop shouldnt require any type of alignment add ons.

Other springs that drop the car about the same are H&R and Suspension Techniques.

i have Pro Kit springs on my tokico blue shocks, the ride is very nice, and the handling is awesome, very flat in the turns. of course my cusco STB's help out with that too hehe. overall, i liek the Pro Kit better than the H&R's i had previously.

KYB will be releasing their AGX series shocks and struts for the S14 chassis in about a month or two. You may want to wait for those if you want adjustables?

For now, the front AGXs for S13s actually fit the front of an S14. But not the rears. So that piece of info is relatively useless unless you want to mismatch shocks

Where did you get that info about the s14 shocks being released in about a month? Just wondering if it was an offical announcement or just something read somewhere. Got an e-mail or a link you could show us? I'm sure there would be a TON of people ready to jump on those the day they are released.

I got the info from a salesman at KYB. He said that the AGX product would be released this summer. I am going to talk to him again today or tomorrow to see if they have a more definate date yet.

I'll let you all know what I find out. I've been waiting for these damn things!
