Oil catch tank choice breather or not

Hi,

i'm looking to buy a catch tank for my S13.
I noticed that there is lot of cheap tank on ebay at about 10 dolls.
- Is it ok to go for one of thoses ?
- why there is so much difference with a greddy or cusco one for example ?
- is there a real gain in security with thoses ? or its just loosing money ?

- The ebay catch tank have no filter/breather, is it very important ? better ? worth it ?
any suggestions and links are welcome.
sorry for my english, i'm french.

Le Cusco et Tomei c'est JDM = beacoup d'argent mais le filles l'aime!!
Ooo la la, c'est magnifique!

LOL... two years of high school French ftl!

You're paying a premium for the JDM branding.
I've heard some people have even made their own out of aluminum soda cans.

the breather depends on the route of the lines you're using.
A ebay one is just as good as a name brand. it' just catches the oil. the oil only comes out when you're reving very high at ALL TIMES. The 30 dollar circuit sport from phase2 is very nice.

A breather should be used if you're going out and back in to the valve cover.
A breather should not be used if you're going from the valve cover to the intake.

Find that one, the 15 mm fitting is good for the CA motor.
