From idle to about 2500rpm, my car has a noticable loss in torque. Not bad, but noticable. Could a hole or leak anywhere in the exhaust system (not sure where) be causing this? What about a damaged cat?

is the car stock or do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

a loss in torque can be from anything. if it's a leaky exhaust, you'll definitly hear it! you may just need new spark plugs or something.

Yeah, a full tune up and oil change is coming up this weekend.

The car is 100% stock.

a leak in the exhaust shouldnt hurt anything, just sounds like crap. unless u have a turbocharged car, and then u have an exhaust leak before the turbine, like i had

then ud loose power. haha. woops...
