another option is to use super fine to fine steel wool and use mothers polish...that polish works wonders...ive also heard nothing but good things about the mothers polishing ball...

what size are those RP-01s btw?

Check with a multimeter to make sure the lips arent anodized, if its conductive its not. I would hit it with some sandpaper to rid of the oxidation/pitting then hit it with a polishing wheel with a drill or air tool to get it mirror shined.
