Beffore you go and try to make big power you should buy some coilovers, and a LSD. No reason to go fast if you cant handle and learn to drive your car better beffore you try to go faster.

^^ I never said anything about "going fast", thats one of my pet peeves. It's like saying no one should buy FDs, Z32TT,Z33, 180sx, silvias, supras, skylines because the wont be able to handle to power. Going fast relies on your foot in relation to the gas.:hammer: Ol boy asked about JGS and I answered him. Turbos = 240sx power increase No one on here knows every member, who are you and who am I to judge who on Zilvia has learned to drive their car or not? My 240 was running so rough when I bought it, I definitly didnt get a jist of the stock KA power. And when I get home and finish the final touches on my KA-t, it will pretty much be me learning to drive it. But I have participated in many a auto-x and HPDE, just in my other Nissan.

Not sure if you are talking to me or the original poster, but I've put on about 270,000 miles on my 240sx over the last 9 years, and had a 200sx for a few years before that, I think I know how to "handle" my 240, lol

+1 Nuisance - Exactly my point ^^
+1 Dirty - Like always, you come through with some reality. N2O is not "street legal".

Back in '99 when I as in S.W. FL the cops were busting ppl right and left for having Nitrous. It was like $200-500 fines.

if aLl out n/a:

go Dohc.
higher comp pistons. can be made custom, theres a shop down the street makes anything. 100 per piston for first run. then 50.
or.... (And some "and")

headers. intake, safc, 370cc, nitrous. u can go pretty nasty with nitrous up to 100 shot if u got the pump and the fuel. colder plugs might be a good choice too.

msd ignition works real well too.

overall, n/a drag is a waste of time. either go turbo. or bigger block

first just because I posted after you dosent mean i was talking about you. I wasnt referring to anybody in general, im just saying 60% of people (usually DSM people lol) try to "go faster" and forget about more imporant things, plus the oringal poster doesnt even know what a LSD is???? Also who here would NOT like to take there car to skip barber school or something, i would and i almost guaranty everyone could learn something from that.

man...u just said my point, and thas what i really hate when people just follow the trend and buy a 240 and shout out a question without even thinking, bare in mind, 240sx aka S-chasis IS JUST A CAR, this is not a drift machine, not a donut maker. why dont the original poster do a little research on what is horse power, what is torque, what is LSD, what is Sr20det, what is ball bearing turbo, what is throttle body, what is intercooler, what is manifold etc etc. before asking for 240sx horse power increase, at least get used to your car before thinking of another engine, especially u live in Cali, to me, if i have a chance to do it all over again, i wont even do the swap.
