What diff fluid is best?

I have been reading that alot of people suggest Redline fluid for there clutch type diffs. I cant find exactly what fluid they are using from Redline? What exact fluid from Redline are people using and also what friction modifier to use and how much of the modifier?

ah yeah if u want use the redline depending on what u do get the right weight
and then friction modifier get the one from FORD i believe is the best one. works great and keeps the clunking to a minimum
but usually clunking maens the lsd needs a rebuild.

it onyl clunks whenthe modifier isnt in there, i have some in there now and the clunk is 99% gone, but im almost positive thats due to the crappy modifier and fluid i put in there to test the diff out. But you said is pretty much what i asked because redlin has alot of differnt types of fluids in different weights for rear diffs, so i still have no idea what to go get

Im not dead set on redline, jsut saw alot of people use it, but whats the Ford modifier called?

doesnt amtter. just go to the dealer and tell them what u need. they can find it. i used some ina noisy kaaz lsd i had at one point.

just get one and try it
if u dont like it try another
everyone's preference and set up is different.

I work to ford has a ton of friction modifier it works really well. ford had a big problem with the differentials on the 02-05 models where the diff wud clunk and we rebuild them and put the modifier in and have no problems.
