Where is the 240sx's ecu computer located. And how can I get acces to it? As you know this is the first time I have my car and I want to take a look at the ecu. Thanks in advance. PEACE

its in the passenger side kick panel...if u dont know where that is then jus imagine u r sittin in your passenger seat and its right where your right leg is...to get to it u jus have to pull the plastic housing of the kick panel off...may require a good tug to get off...after that u should see it right there...u shouldnt miss it...is there a reason why u want to take a look at your ecu?...or r u jus curious where it is?

why do you want to look at the ECU? haha anyways.. get a Service Manual, always a good thing to have, it will answer that question + many more

<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> &nbsp;why is such a "super fast answer" needed? Is your engine dying? Sensors and CELs going crazy?
Sorry the subject line is just annoying because it doesn't even hint to what you need to know. In fact, it's not even a subject line because it has nothing to do with your post.
I shouldn't even be telling you this because I hate when topics don't even allude to the actual post.

BUT since I'm such a nice guy (cough cough) I'll tell you.
The ECU is located in the passenger side kick panel on the door-side (i.e. not on the tranny side). umm... I think. You'll have to undo some screws and take off the panel to get access to it, then you'll have to swivel the ECU around to check for fault codes. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I wonder how our FAQ section is doing...maybe the topic in there about ECU's could help you out.

Please put something relevant in the topic title...it's not against the rules or anything to do it like you did, it just pisses me off <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='issed:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

Hey Dave, thanks. But I saw your 240sx on the pics. I like it a lot. But I need some fog lights. What kind of fogs are those. And how much. Can you tell me a little about them? Thanks man.
