Man, I've seen some of those in-store displays. Crap is so cramped it gets no cooling, its probally overheating.

They had the same problem at E3. I'm sure it's more of an issue of it not being cooled then a manufacturing issue.

since you work at target...do you have any idea how many Playstation 3s you might have available on opening night? will you guys be doing like a midnight release like walmart? about how long should i plan on waiting in line this thursday night? or have the Ps3 diehards already congregated!!???

haha like ive told every other guest, no preorders, no midnight release, and we dont know how many we are getting, (ive seen the backroom, only stuff we actually have in stock before release are movies, music, or games,) and we expect people to start lining up the afternoon before, around 7am before opening at 8am we will hand out vouchers/tickets to people in line to keep things more organized

Yeah, with certain games or certain parts in the games. The same happened with the 'PSOne' (when it replaced the original) and the 'Slim PS2' (when it replaced the original PS2). Some PS1 games wont play on PS2, and some just have glitches in certain parts.

hahah im fallin back in love with my ps2 since i put a 120gig hd on it and some fairly recent games where actually worth playing or killing time..

Gonna wait it out til price drops on ps3.. I dont have parents that will buy me video games or lil brothers that will get it on Christmas etc..
