KA24E to KA24DE swap questions...

I'm picking up a 1990 Fastback with a KA24E - its tired and I wanted to do a KA-T with a DOHC motor anyways. A friend of mine has a KA24DE he's going to sell me out of his 97 240SX, it has now ECU however, so what I need to know is...

1) The trans currently in the car will work correct? (pretty sure it will but I want to be sure)

and

2) What ECU should I put in the car? a 91-94 or a 95-98? Which is easier and do I need anything else to accomodate the ECU with the 97 Motor?

have you searched?? The 97 engine will work but you'll need a s13 dohc ecu, harness, and various other items like distributor, coil, etc. Try searching, its been cover many many times before
