best offset for stock aero s13?

OK. I got an 90 s13 w/ coilovers and z32 brake setup. no bodykit. I wanna go w/ 17s. but i dont know much about offsets. I want my ride to sit nice w/out having to get overfenders or do fender rolling. If ppl can give me some options to work with that would be great. or if u can tell me what ur running on ur stock aero s13 and how it sits that would be great also. I tried searching for couple of hours but i didnt get what i has looking for.

so define your defintion of sit nice... because theres no way your getting anywhere close to my (or anyone else on this site) definition of nice w/ non rolled fenders

What you SHOULD do is go throught the for sale/wheels thread or the picture threads or even the photogallery... and at worst just ask people w/ similar aero to yours what sizes they are running... but search first... ask questions later

If your stock ie. no aero go as low offset as you can fit and drop the car as low as you can stand it.

Roll your fenders.

It's your duty if you live in the City of Angels you represent right.

But if you chose not to roll, then:

17x8+25
17x9+35

That would require no rolling or anything.

The downside would be that it would be "sunk" by the criteria of the community here.

Otherwise if you want to roll, 17x9+15 all around is a popular choice (as Justin said, +12 is no biggie either, just 3mm). Or, 17x9+20 all around. Or, 17x8.5+20 all around.

Requires hammering and whatnot depending on how low you are, and stuff like relocated harness etc, but that goes without saying when you upgrade wheel size on 240sx.

If you plan to run OEM aero then you can choose to not roll you fender and get away with it. If you run aftermarket aero, then you MUST roll your fender and run aggressive wheels, otherwise it just looks silly.

Typically when I post, I post with the intention that someone READS what I write.

Yes, 17x9+15 will sit nice with roll, but you need to lower your car / camber in, otherwise will "stick out."

how wide of a tire could you put on a 17x9+20 with out having to do major reworking on the back. I want the most tire I can get on the back with out widebody, want the closest I can get to looking stock on the exterior.

Well, so far it seems like a 225/45 Kumho MX (which is quite wide, more like a 235 in width for most other tires) in the rear would be the widest I can go in the rear with my 17x9 +20, and all I got is max rolled fenders and I plan on not running more than 1.5 to 1.7 degrees of camber, if it will work.
