Today when I went to the muffler shop they said that they hear valve ticking. My KA24DE has 96k on it. How is this fixed and how much does it cost?

When my lifters start to tick (and it's around oil change time) i drop in engine de-greaser (or whatever it is). It this stuff u thow in 5 min before the change and it removes some of the built up grease. Seems to work.

I had my oil changed about 700 miles ago with Valvoline Max life. Right away I put in STP fuel system cleaner and "Restore" formula. Now what should I do?

This stuff I'm talking about goes in right before the change and you run the engine for 5min or so. Without doing major work (I consider taking the valvetrain apart major) it's the quickest fix. It won't hurt anything (i don't  think, so u can wait a bit.) just make sure you're oil is topped up..
