Stupid code 33 (front o2 sensor?) HELP!
Ok, so my CEL came on the other night, and gave me the code 33. Apparently it's front o2 sensor? So no biggy, i go and get an OEM sensor from the local nissan wreckers (in much better shape than my old one).
However, now my CEL is still comes on intermittently while revving the car. And it still gives me a code 33. What gives? |

You did not reset the ECU properly...you left it in diagnostic mode.
Run the codes...NOW, while it's flashing the code, you turn the screw FULLY CLOCKWISE and hold it AT LEAST 2 seconds. Now, turn the screw all the way back counter-clockwise. Turn the key off. Wait a few seconds, and start the car. CEL should be off...if it's not, you didn't reset properly..it takes a good 10-15 seconds of running for any code like that to come back. If it's blinking...you still have it in diag mode somehow. Repeat the reading resetting until you get it right. - Brian
