I'm not sure if you can still trace IP's from a deleted post, but easiest way is to take the "Axiom" Work Emotion deleted post, and trace the IP on the poster.

If the poster's IP matches Axiom's shop, then obviously it wasn't a "fired employee."

If the poster's IP matches Paikman, then he did it.

Otherwise everyone is just making assumptions and accusations.

I can vouch for Paikman though, he has always been very legit with me (on a business and personal level) and never struck me as a untrustworthy person.

Also, he is known in the 240sx community and has been around for a while, and his knowledge base is a lot larger than from what the poster did. I even sent a PM because the original Advan TC post had the wrong sizing (that Advan never made) and I nicely helped them out. Didn't get a reply or even a thank you, which made me very skeptical as to if they even had those wheels.

Driftin_180sx, who are you? Interesting that you are from WA and have 2 posts, which are to blast Paikman.

Also, to teamsprock and samplesurf, what paypal address did you send the money to? Can't you see the Paypal account's confirmed owner/address?

The reason I take interest in this is because I'm sick and tired of our industry getting dragged under the bus, and customers being immediately cynical of shops due to fraud.

I did not start this post as a place to point fingers and speculate as to who did this, I was simply trying to raise awareness of this type of stuff and hopefing to get facts on who the seller might be.

Here are the facts that I have, the email address that I sent the money to was [email protected] and the user name that shows up on the paypal account is Yunie Kim.

teamsprock and the others who actually were scammed :
I apologize for threadjacking, but when someone makes a direct and clear link between me and this situation I needed to tell the truth, sorry for that.
Strange the person used a hotmail addy, that's kind of a ringer that it's not directly linked to the company which should have their own hosting for email....

OMG, I'm famous!

No, but seriously, I was worried when I was talkin to Jon about buyin the coils, cause it was a better deal than I'd seen ANYWHERE and that was more than I paid for my shell, or my SR, or my audio, etc. Anyway, I called Axiom and they gave me a run-around, finally said he was 'selling those on his own or something', and I got a little more worried - then I did get him on the phone and figured if something goes wrong I could head up to Axiom and mess someone up, and call it a day.

But alas, he pwned online selling - lots of email contact, a legit tracking number, and as the post says, the items were pristine ~ that shop on the other hand, gave the creeps via telephone. *Forrest Gump* And that's all I have to say about thaaaat.

Yeah, samplesurf didn't get his money back yet though right?

I'd be pretty wary of the hotmail emails as Paikman said. Any legitimate shop should at LEAST have a domain, but then again even that doesn't mean that they won't scam you.

Hope everyone gets their money back and karma serves the would be scammer.

Always pay with credit card. Never use a debit card or a bank transfer. Tell your credit card that you never got the wheels and they'll hold paypal responsible and get your money the same day. This is the reason why paypal doesn't like people using CC's and asks if they are sure that they want this to be their payment option right when you change it to CC payment.
