First and most important question.

Will an s13 radiator fit a s14 ok? Are there any other nissan radiators you guys have made work, and work well?

Second

How easy/difficult is the upper rad support to install? Bolted or tack welded in? thanks a bunch guys...

You know it fits, the upper tabs are further in so you'll just need to make brackets or ziptie it in, everything else is the same.

Core support is welded in. Through the dealer you can buy it in pieces or complete, each piece will need to be spotwelded back in.

Thanks. I'll head out and grab an s13 rad from the junkyard tomorrow. Theres not that big of a difference...right? the stock fan will still fit?

you are fine on everything except the top mounting brackets, in different spots

Remember that the S13 radiator is half as thick too, so be prepared for a lot of coolant bleeding.

"lot of coolant bleeding"... Sorry, you kinda lost me there. Do you mean the car will overheat very easily(since it prob. holds 1/2 as much coolant if its 1/2 as thick), or are you actually refering to bleeding the air out of the coolant?

Bleeding air, that's all. By replacing it you create a huge opening in the cooling system, and it will take a while to bleed it fully.

If you use the stock s13 fan and shroud the fan will be veeeerrryyy close in the s14. "works fine in my car".

yeah the s14 ka takes a while to bleed. and don't rely on the stock gauge to give you a reading

recomendations on how to bleed it?

When replacing a radiator i usually just fill it up, turn the motor on and wait till the thermostat opens...i then fill till full. Is there a different better way?
