Need help...I bought s14 rear seatbelts and it seems like they're locked...

I can't unravel them.They're wound up all the way and only unwind about 1 1/2 inches. Can anyone help me?

Iirc there is a metal bar that moves and locks the seatbelt. You need to hold them facing the correct direction vertically. Then slowly pull them out.

Any other way and it will lock them.

Agreed. They have to be sitting in the exact orientation they would be in the car to fully retract.
