Obviously the same car but are the lips the same? Did he transfer the lip from the stock front to the pignose? If so or not, can someone identify them for me? In my search it seems that some people put the USDM lip on a pignose but it doesn't fit properly. Am I understanding it correctly?

Same lip... all I did was screw the lip into the bottom of the Silvia bumper with wood screws and used nuts/bolts on the sides...

i think you have your lingo mixed up, that lip IS a pignose lip and yes he did just transfer it to his s13 front end

i got a quick question that's been buggin me for a little while now

does anybody know if i'll be able to fit the pig-nose lip on my silvia front end with my bumper flared out like it is???

So where does someone get a pignose lip? If the pignose lip fits the stock front and vice-versa, then are the USDM and pignose lip the same? I see OEM S13 lips for sale in the classifieds, ebay, etc, but I can never tell if they are USDM or JDM. I see Courtesy Nissan sells this lip but want to know if it will fit my pignose without gaps etc. I don't mind drilling new holes or whatever.

Courtesy may be wrong on their stock, that lists "89-94".

The pignose lip is of course the SE optional front lip on 89-90 models. The 91-94 front lip came equipped on all models, but it's just a little piece that hangs below the leading edge of the bumper, much like the Z33 Track model where you can barely tell it's there. From what I've heard the pignose lip is NLA, retail was about $230 last time I czeched in 2001, so with Nissan's yearly price hikes it'd be over $300 by now.

I have sold them used for anywhere from $100-200, so if you find one for $50 or so it's probably not a pignose, or the seller doesn't know the demand for it. Or, it's trashed and broken to hell.

it all comes of the zenki s13 89-90

where the pignose lip originates from zenki s13

lip not mounted

stock chuki lip 91-94 when im pretty sure is the same as the one courtesy parts is selling.

these parts were meant to fit the oem body parts not aftermarket

i would have to see it in person

but you never know til you testfit it

pignose on the silvia bumper is a tad bit longer. so it just might work. then again your fender portion is bulging out a bit so it might be too short. if thats the case, you can snip the cup-ends and have it sit flat. hope that makes sense

aero bumper is different
