won't crank, no power to fuel pump

I turned the key to on/acc/start, then before the motor could start to crank all warning lights, fuel pump, etc. went dead. I disassembled the ignition switch to see if that mite be the case, seems okay. Only functions that work are all hot-constant ones, such as interior light, headlamps, brake lamps, hazards.

BTW I did search bitches. We need to make an electrical gremlin sticky thread under tech.

Update, replaced ignition switch and that did nothing to hep my situation.

Anyone have any ideas as to what else could be the problem.

I'd first try by replacing the grey 75amp fuse in the engine bay. That will probably fix your problem. I remember something like that happened to me once and that was my solution. Did you cross your battery cables?

thats what i was kinda thinking, or either that that battery terminals arent tight, sometimes, this is tha case, the car will turn on acc. when you go to start it will click and die, check battery leads.
