well the freight company just dropped my LSD off. Its a JDM Lsd off a silvia s14. hope it fits <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> . anyway, after inspecting it and taking a hard look at it. i was wondering, where do i put the oil in? i am looking for it but just cant seem to see it. i must be blind.
also, is there any special thinks i should look at to inspect before i install? i will have pics posted shortly.

isn't that a breather? i think you should just fill it through the drain plug. just tip it on end, and pour the recommended amount of fluid in.

ya that is what i think, but i could be wrong. after looking at it for the third time i think that is a breather now what fluid do i use for this LSD. it is not a VLSD.(from what i was told when i bought this.)

If it's a Stock Silvia LSD then it has to be a VLSD. On the 240 Diff isn't the fill plug on the left side? Maybe it's in the same place as the drain plug?
Also are you gonna have to swap Diff covers? b/c if the one you bought looks like the one on the left it won't bolt up will it?

if it is off of an S14, it is a VLSD
iirc only the s15 used anything else (helical i believe) you could just talk to the friendly local nissan dealer as the diff oil should be the same Camppain? any clues?
