I'm going to put 16" rims on my 240. I know that my stock 15s have 60 series tires on them.. To keep the speedo accurate would I want to go with 55 or 50 or even 45? I want to do a 225 in front and a 245 in back..

First off, you'll need something like 7.5" +35 offset rims for the front and 8.5" +32 offset rims for the rear.
The right tires would be 225/45/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. |

Thanks for your help.. I know about the offset.. I am going to be building a KA24DE for my car really soon and I'm gonna need the traction! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

for the 225 I'd try a 50 series, and for the 245... uh.. I guess a 45 or if they have it, 40. (I'm speculating here)
And BTW I have a KA24DE in my car, and it DEFINATLEY doesn't need (and would not benefit from) 245 tires out back... that would just give me understeering issues (which I get enough of from my VW). If you were building a KA24DET, on the other hand, it might be different. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]()

I have 225/50 on 16x7.5 rims. Offset is not +35... I think it's higher. However, there is no scraping at all, but you can't go wider with same offset.
