yeah, so I took it off and I have to put my car back together so I can go to work tomorrow and I REALLY don't want to put that plastic peice back on and just have to take it off again when I go to put my front sway on. So, can I drive with it off or could road debre(sp?) hurt the engine or anything under there?

You answered it yourself the only thing to worry about is debris. It can dirty up your engine, it wont really hurt anything else. Not much to worry bout.
