can u unplug ur maf & rev past 2500rpms? i can

i have a 91 with a redtop sr that i swapped myself. if any of u had that problem can u tell me what u did to solve it. please dont tell me to check a list of things to trouble shoot, and i searched but never found any thing conclusive. so if u can just tell me what u did to fix that. if u've never had this problem thanks for reading this post, but u dont to have to reply. thanks alot.

did your title get cut off? should it say "......cant" most cars can run with a MAF unplugged, the car just runs off the maps in the ecu. not great, ecspecially if you have mods

could a bad or mis adjusted tps let it rev past 2500 rpms. my wires are hooked up right and power flow threw them.

the car is all stock, and the car runns alright. it smokes, but not so bad that i cant drive it.
