Sr20 Idle / Throttle response Problem

I looked at the other sr20 thread and it didn't quite address the problem im having.
My sr20 when idling will idle normal at around 800 rpm, then drop down to 5-600 and nearly stall. Also when i give it gas it sometimes hesitatesa bit.

I still have the same spark plugs it had when it came from japan, and just put some fuel injector cleaner in, also my only mods are an hks ssqv bov (non recirculated) and a 3 inch turbo back exhaust.
Thanks alot
Ryan

Theres your problem. Recirculate your BOV and get some new plugs!!!

These cars are not meant to be ran with a atmospheric BOV unless you eliminate the MAF.

hope this helps

Well not exactly true When I was in Japan every one was running atmospheric BOV on stock engines especially the Blitz Dual Drive one and those annyoing HKS SSQ

Wouldn't hurt to change your plugs too. Know how long those engines sit in warehouses? BKR6EIX is the part number for some new plugs. Make sure all your vacuum lines are connected as well, and there's no cracks on the hoses

An SR has a IACV, right? Often times that's what it is in any engine.
