Installing Head Stud *Quick Question?*

i did install my ARP stud and i torque them all in sequece, and i torque all stud at 70ft/lbs (is that sound right). and i DID NOT follow 90-95 degree clockwise in the FSM. Is that will affect or ruin my motor later on, Please Help me and give me some advice, Thank U.

ARP should tell you what to torque them to. Im pretty sure they dont use the FSM's torque specs.

i know the torque for ARP Stud already, i just wonder if i do need to follow the 90-95 degree step in FSM (Not torque spec).

Yups, just follow what ARP recommends. The 90 degree crap is only for stock head bolts.

It can affect the way your headgasket seats and how much your head bolts stretch but its not that big a deal as long as you torque everything down correctly... the 91 degrees just assures the head is seated evenly all the way around rather than doing this by checking torque

That isn't exactly correct. The torque-to-degree specs in the FSM ONLY apply to the stock bolts because they are torque-to-yield, which is why you cant reuse them. If you were referring to stock, then yes, you must reach the required degree setting or the bolts will be waay undertightened. Once you have reached the required torque on the studs as per ARP, you are done.
