SR wont start! :(

I tried to turn on my car yesterday and it didn't want to crank over.
Anyone have any idea what it could be?

here is a video of me trying to start it.

Check for fuel, check for spark. If both of those are good then check your timing. It can be a little irritating getting the timing on sr's.

easy way to test

1) turn car on
2) disconnet battery

if the engine shut off then you alt is dead.

Replace the battery and run a wire from your negative battery terminal to the front passenger side of the engine bay for a solid ground. Your alternator is probably not getting a strong ground from the back of the car so it wont charge. Its a pretty notorious problem when mounting the battery in the trunk. I once had the same problem on a swap. No matter how I grounded it in the rear it just wasnt good enough. I ran a small guage wire to the front and good to go.
