battery/electrical prob
Alright this happedned before. I think there is something that sucks the juice out of my battery. A couple months ago we were ganna drive the car and the battery died. So I bought another battery but didnt hoook it up until I was ganna take the car for a spin again, until 3 weeks ago. Car worked normal. I didnt unhook it because I thought the old battery was just old and died. Today I was ganna move the car in the garage and this battery died. what the heck??
and wtf? well i charged the batt for like 4 hours. put it in the car. lights worked. turned the key. no start. then there was no more juice left in the batery.?????????????????????????????????????????? |

THe battery may appear charged...but it is dead. Take it somewhere and have the load test the battery. or even you can do it by engaging the starter while u have a voltmeter on the battery...if the volts drop say, below 9.6v or so, ur battery is toast. do you have power locks or power windows? Do they work? Id check those fuse's first. but, could be a million things pullin the parasitic load. download an FSM, im not giving u a link, so find one. Search, read, search some more, read alot and ull learn how to solve these problems that everyone and the brother have incountered. SS |
