when will they learn that

a.) you can't take an R rated series and pump out a PG-13 sequel without completely ruining everything
b.) hackers as bad guys = totally lame.

aside from a lot of truly infuriating moments, though.. there were some pretty sweet action sequences. even the f35 sequence was, at least, entertaining. completely out of place, but still pretty slick.

the dialog editing was pretty blatant. there were countless times where an actor would be speaking, and then the camera would switch angles while the actor kept talking, but off camera, and you could almost barely hear the sound tone change a little. the unrated version might be worth looking into.

all in all.. terrible plot, decent action, very, very little blood save bruce getting messy. like three people get shot in the whole thing. the unrated version will probably be a lot better, but this one definitely replaces Die Harder as the worst of the series.

I didn't even realize that it had a PG-13 rating now I'm just going to wait to see it on-line. Already I know it's not worth my money and will not live up to the past die hards with a PG-13 rating! I'm WTF were they thinking!!

Yeah I thought that it was pretty lame that PG-13. They should've kept it R rating to go out with a bang if this is the very final last one. That sucks. Man what's up with all these movies sucking ass these days. And it's $11 a ticket, such bullshit.

I for one loved it. I agree, it should have gotten an R rating and had a lot more action in it...I just rewatched the first one and wow it has a lot more to it than I remember being lol. I still give LFODH 2 thumbs up.

I saw the trailer from Pirates 3, and it was pretty cool. Hmm... well as long as there is good action sequences, I'll probably give it a go.

yeah, there was a ton of non-action fake hacker bullshit going on instead of john blasting people. now, i'll admit that all the die hards have bad plots and corny villians. but they made it alright by having bruce willis kicking ass constantly throughout. this one just had dudes on keyboards going "I'M BREAKING TEH ENCRYPTIONZ!!!" for like 70% of it.

the very first fight scene was pretty sweet though, the one in apple kid's apartment.

I saw the movie and thought it was good, I had no clue it was PG-13. I went in there expecting over the top chessy stuff and man...it was filled with it (such as the woman getting hit by the SUV and still alive to fight). I had a good laugh and enjoyed the movie. Also he did say the line towards the end.

he said it but it was bleeped out with a gunshot, which was totally lame. there wasn't a single f-bomb in the entire movie.

more interesting, though, is that it wasn't the same scene as was shown in the preview. there were a couple lines in the preview that didn't get into the movie. i honestly think the dvd will be a far better movie.

I saw the preview where he crashed the police car into the helicopter and I burst out laughing, haha, what a bunch of garbage. Another average movie to make quick money and soon be forgotten.

I never liked Bruce Willis though, so I might be slightly biased.
