Singal relay location??? S13

I'm having troubles finding the relay for the signal lights. I checked the factory service manual and am having a hell of a time understanding it. I can hear fine and good, but I can't find it. If anyone can help, please let me know.

I need to take my car in to get safetied, and signal lights are going to fast, and the front signals won't even work. If you know what is going on here for sure (which I'm sure it has to do with the relay), please help me out!

Thanks

if your lights flash too fast it's most likely flasher relay. usally they are under the dash on the driver side. best thing to do is turn on the turn signle and listen for the clicking coming from the flasher.

i always thought that if it blinks too fast that means one bulb is out, so try replacing the bulb that dosent work and i think it will slow down, to normal speed. is it both blinkers going too fast or just one?

That is exactly what I did, but was unable to find it. I thought maybe it might be under the steering column dash cover, but wanted to find out for sure before taking stuff apart unnecessarily.

When I put on the hazards, they blink normal speed and only the rears work, then when I just try either signals, they go too fast. The rear blinkers will also work though when going fast, but the fronts will not work at all.

I have a similar problem except my corner lights blink instead of my blinkers. Both of my blinkers also go too fast. But from what I know the hazard lights use a different relay and everything which allows them to be on when the car is off. If anyone has an answer to this I would also like to know.

Check for corrosion on the bulb contacts on both right and left front turn signals.

ok dude....if you put your hazards on and it flashes normal speed but only the back flashes

then u put flashers and it flahses fast....its either the circuit or most likley the bulb that is burnt out...
those flasher relays dnt just burn.....

check the lights....
then check the ground
then just check the circuit.....

all things that dont cost money.....

Yep...turned out to be a bad bulb. There was corrosion around the bottom, and caused a whole in the bulb. had to replace both though cause one wasnt working properly.

Thanks for the help guys!

Just in case someone searches and finds this, the S13 flasher is located directly above the steering column, you have to drop it to gain access.
