SR Water/Methanol Injection

I was just wondering how well a stock SR20 can handle water/ ethanol injection, and what setup would work best as far as brands and so forth.

no need for meth in a stock sr20. If you were running a gt35r and had no means of getting race fuel than i 'd reccomend it but for a stock swap its not worth it.

^ exactly what he said. all the stuff is to give you the higher octane needed to run higher boost without detonating. if you're running a turbo that blows hot air passed 14psi let alone doesn't even hold 14psi all the way to redline, what's the need for it? same applies to any motor. if you want more than 350hp without doing a full build get an rb20, it's half the price of an sr20, and upgrading the turbo, injectors, maf, tune will give you more hp and more reliability than an sr20. i say this with a 370rwhp cap. i wouldn't push an rb20 passed 370 on stock internals unless i didn't care if the motor popped. rb20 is fine all day long @ 350rwhp with those bolt ons and the other supporting mods ie fmic, exhaust, walboro fuel pump and a very stressed and uber important GOOD TUNE.

Meth injection would work great on ANY turbo setup, esepcially for those guys in hotter climates running lapping days. Great alternative to running overly priced race fuels all the time. Cooler cylinder temps/intake air always works well

I have aquamist on mine.

^haha! Im rocking the cooling mist kit on my personal car! I love the idea of meth injection and im a firm believer in the performance gains but i realy dont think its necessary on a stock swap.
