Need help identifying Radiators - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Soo I needed to get a friend a SR20DET radiator. I specifically asked for one, and apparently I didn't get the correct radiator. I honestly don't know whether my friend is wrong or not, cus I personally dont know WTF the diff is, but I *do* have pics, so mebbe if somebody knows, help a brutha out? This is what's in the car right now...

...and the radiator laying on top is what I was given.

So what's the deal? Did I get the wrong radiator or what? Cus if I did, I'm gonna be pissed (I specifically asked for a S13 SR20DET radiator... grrr.

the one in the car is a sr rad.
the one laying on top is not, i hope the one you got for your "friend" isnt the one that is out of the car in the pic.

if you just look and compare the two, its easy to see that the inlets at the top are on opposite sides.  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/baaa.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':baaa:'>

The one laying atop the valve cover is made for an early KA (i.e. 89-90 KA24E).  You got the suckiest of all S13 radiators right there.  Thinnest, and cheapest.
