Stock Exhaust Manifold Wieght

Would going to an aftermarket manifold save any weight, (Cast vs tubular steel manifold)? My only reference is when I went from a manifold to headers on my Eclipse I saved ~20lbs.
Yes the extra HP would be nice too, if it makes any.

port the stock exhaust mani.. ull make more power then any tubular. i have seen many dyno sheets with stock to tomei manis and hks, ud be surprised at what the stock cast irons ones can do!

they dont crack A problem with tubular ones

the hold heat better, which means lower engine bay temps and better exhaust flow.

port the bitch! and have fun

Cool, might have to do that. Do you think it would be worth it with a T-28? Also, where did you find the dyno results of it?

a local shop down here JPRMOTOR has done various dynos on sr's with stock and tube manis one car dynod at 256rwhp on a stock mani then was changed out to a tomei mani and dropped to 236rwhp. the powerband was a little better but lost a large amount. as for places that do it, im looking intro rightnow for myself and as soon as i find a good shop ill chime back!
