reaction time doesn't matter in a 1/4 mile. you can sit at the staging area for 5 secs for all i care and it wouldn't affect your quarter mile. what is important is his 60' time which isn't bad but isn't that spectacular when you see cars getting 2.1's or less.

thats amazing, but u should be getting a lot better 60' than a 2.3. especially with an LSD and 225 tires... i was getting 2.3s on my 205s with an open differential with decent wheelspin nice slips though

.600 isnt impossible, not that it matters, ive hit .525 and similar on a few occasions. and my 60' was 2.1 with stock 195 tires

I KNOW for a fact 15.4 is obtainable, I stood there (and got VIDEO footage I have yet to digitize) of Evil S14s run... No LSD, dual N1. . etc... Fairly stock really, so maybe the 14.xx is obtainable.. =) Maybe our cars don't suck that much haha

Someone just pegged my bullshit meter... Was this in an eighth mile track or the quarter? I know people with modded SRs running 14s with piss poor traction.

i'm not saying 15.4 is impossible. if you look at my post before i said that I could believe 15.5...... but a 14.68 is about a second faster if you are doing a 15.4. Think about it, a whole second if well over just a car length ahead. Again if he did get "more power to him" but i am like someone without a religion.... I won't believe it until i actually see it... ok bad analogy

finishing the 1/4 mile at the end of third gear is just about right. If his gearing was different the car probably wouldn't have the same KA transmission unless there is a difference in gearing from s13 to s14. If he had longer gearing though i would think he would be finishing the 1/4 mile in third. That is however something to wonder.

Man....14.68 Bone Stock. Hard to believe. I want to see that. You should show everyone that u are not messin around and join us tomorrow (10/25) at a little Track meet that we are trying to organize in MD. There should be a couple of 240's running. If you're in DE it can't be too far. It's right off of Route 50 in Crofton,MD. Well just check out the thread in the meets section "Short Notice Meet".

I beginning to think that it maybe was just a mistake, but i still have run MANY consistant 15.0-15.1 times, as illustrated in one of my old timeslips posted earlier from July. The gearing issue, what are you guys speeds @6500 in third. Mine is like 83 or 84, no way i can rev it through the quarter. Also, i haven't changed my timing chain yet, and i don't have LSD, for you guys that didn't read the whole thread.

Oh, i live in Wyoming, DE. If you want to meet in Dover (my cruising area) then e-mail me @ [email protected] or notify me on here. There is definately a lack of 240's in Dover (only about 2 regulars) so a new race (maybe an SR20) would be great.

To the airbox (The pipes that go to the resonator box) not after, it was still being filtered. Adds a nice growl, even though i don't really feel a difference in power.

A little skeptical, but time slips take some skeptism away. Get a video next time you run...then no-one could deny the time.

With that trap speed, and assuming that his car weighs 2750 lbs, he would have to be making ~180 hp to do that. 180!! Stock is rated at 155?! I know there are tolerances, but not an additional 25 hp. Maybe an additional 2.5, but not 25.

I call BS too.

It's kind of sad how many people posted here just to call BS. Oh well, if you really run that, find out what the previous owner did, because I don't see that as possible stock.

I'm with these guys: you're full of shit unless you provide pics of EVERYTHING, underneath the hood before anything else, and then a video clip of your car launching and crossing the line, the drag # visible, and then after that, a picture of the same time slip. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but it just doesn't seem true at all. These cars run 16.4 from the factory. You can't just shave off two seconds like that. Do you have any idea what two seconds is for a 3,000LB car??? That's about what, 75, 50 horses? Just about.

I dunno man, I not calling BS, but something doesn't seem right about that. The previous owner must have done something to the car, such as engine work or weight reduction.

Good run BTW....sometimes I wish I had a 5 speed, more or less my car.
