![]() I found a cheap 240 but it needs a new tranny. But I found an auto tranny as well. How difficult would it be do drop the old one and bolt up the new one for a novice?
Should i attempt it? or should i have a pro do it and how much labor am I lookin at? thanx |

It's cake. An auto weighs more so you'll need a jack, but the good thing is you don't have to tilt the engine and align it to the transmission, you can raise the auto right up to it and bolt the flexplate bots right into the converter without any real effort.
