Umm...you will not be rice (IMO).

Screw what anybody will think about your car.

But try not to street race, show off, or talk about stuff you really have no knowledge on.

that's not rice, IMHO. You're basically creating a sil80, with good wheels, which is a performance mod. I think that would look very nice...

If the car is stock, then it is not rice. If the car is modified, then some might consider it rice. However, the things you listed look pretty good, don't worry about it.

big Al wing on a grand am - rice
stock civic - not rice
primered bumper that you installed before you could afford to paint it - rice

What if its a stock bumper you needed to place on ASAP and you don't have the money for the paint?

That's not exactly rice... well it's kinda on the border there. You'll have a nice looking car, but it won't have no stupid shit on it (park bench, 20" rims etc) so it won't be exactly rice... but definately "all show, no go"

wtf... i'm just gonna say your car is rice no matter what you do to it because it's a little 4 banger that'll never do a sub-10 run.

are you NOT gonna get a fastback then??

do you really care if you're a ricer??

why the hell is everyone so damn paranoid about rice. i like rice. it goes with just about anything. chicken, steak, noodles....

it doesn't sound ricey to me. sounds nice, whenever it gets done.

rice is more along the lines of things that generally look stupid to most car enthusiasts...aka the infamous "altezza" lights.

i don't mean to offend anybody here that likes those things, but i'm sure that's only 2...maybe 3% of you guys on this board that actually like the looks of altezza lights.

everyone has their own opinions of what "rice" is. in my opiion it is making your car look fast without it being fast. from what i read you are making your car look great. thats great. your not trying to make it look like a rb26 powered 9-sec car. however, my stance is putting a 4" tip muffler on a car with a stock piping, thats rice. its cool as hell to have a nice looking car(i wish i had one, damn shopping carts), but so long as you dont put, say, a wings west kit on your car and than throw an INSANE amount of bomex stickers on it when its done, i wish you luck

post some pics when your done
