Hey guys, im almost done setting up my FMIC, and just had a few questions left, that could use your professional help. Well, i cut my bumper reinforcement so the intercooler would fit. Now do i have to cut (forgot the name) metal piece that sits right on top of the bumper reinforcement that holds the bumper in place? Do i have to cut it so its 2 separate pieces? I drew red lines of what i meant.

the bumper support should sit over the intercooler without modification

to be honest, it doesn't fit. at all...the intercooler sits higher than the bumper support. and there is still some part of the intercooler popping out from the bottom of my bumper. :\

it's some ebay brand. well i had a guy over lastnight that specializes in 240's w/ sr's and he told me hes installed a lot before and said that hes had to cut that piece into 2 seperate parts to make it fit. I was just wondering if you guys had heard anything like that.

an 240/SR specialist MY ASS!!! you dont have to cut it. after you cut your bumper support to fit the FMIC then thats it. since it looks like youre using the s13 silvia bumper support

shitty, ive only dealt with greddy (vspl and that cheaper one) and they all clear fine

oh, s13 bumper support? well i took it off my sr front clip which was a 95. I used it because it was already cut for me.
