Hey guys, i as thinking about putting that sleepyeye mode on my car.  I am planning on buying some good fog lights and then puting the sleepyeyes.  That would be phat right?  I was thinkin that couldn't you just take out the fuse and manually adjust the headlights up and down right?  If thats the case then instead of taking out springs and shi%, just take out fuse and it would be much simpler.  Have any of you guys put oyur eyes sleepy or has it never come to mind?
comments and ideas, thanx

i dont know the answer to your ques (sorry) ... but if you look in the topic "92 240sx headlights sticking" or something like that... you might find the answer... its on the second page of the tech talk stuff...

oh...this reminds me...if you do replace the fuse...take out the spring...when you do that...your light will stay up when you want it to...and if you push in and pull out quickly (it won't pop out automatically since you took out the spring)...the lights will stop half way...hence the sleepy eyed look...without the kit!!!

hed probably know the answer to your ques anyway...

Never tried it, but I can't imagine it looking right. The headlight would be pointed funny and look pretty ludicrous if it was turned on. Though I think the lights pop up a bit too high, I do think they look #### slick when down <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> I for one wouldn't sleepy eye unless I had rigged the headlight to still work. Driving around with popups half up all the time will just look like their broken (see it on older camaros and firebirds often)

Jay: That p[ivot head light controler doesnt work. I own a 91 mr2 turbo right now and many of the mr2 guys wanted the low rise head-lights and many tried that pivot head light controller and all said it didnt work and wasnt worth the money.

Just my $.02 cents
