The light came on, no smells, no smoke, no heat, no nothing really. Just the light came on, idle is smooth, seems perfect, but that #### light came on... any ideas? I am worried I only had the thing for 3 days and it is already giving me shit... it's a 97 with 75k on it.

mwa ha ha, you live in california? that check engine light means your emission control gismo is failing, it will not effect your car in anyway, at lease i think... i believe the part is called a ERS or exhaust recirculation sensor (at lease that was the problem with my 89 camry w/ 255k miles on it).  i got my s13 a month ago, and the #### light is poping up, but it comes and fades, i''m unfamiliar w/ the nissan things, so when you find out, update me on it, yah?
