im doing a 5speed swap and ran into a problem i didnt have the MT bolts, i came home a did a quick search and i saw i need the bolts and the MT mounting plate. why do i need the MT mounting plate i put the tranny on and its being held by two bolts right now will i be fine if i leave the one it has right now or it isnt going to work?

Completely different parts.

The 'plate' is the backing plate, the spacer that sits behind the flywheel.
