hey im posting about what all is involved with the S13 hatch to S15 fornt end conversion. i saw this one guys in town, raced him in my Teg. and soon found out he didnt have the SR swap because i beat him pretty badly. but his car deffinately looks VERY clean, i loved it so much. first time iver seen a S15 conversion in real life... anyways. ever since then i found myself to be hooked on the 240. im seriously considering selling my teg for like 5500(hopefully) finding a 240 hatch with a blown engine for about a G, im planing on doing the SR20 Swap. just having a whole front clip sent over so ill have everything i need...i just need some pricing. im thinking i can get the S13 SR20DET for about 2500 bucks, OH! which brings me to another question... what is all involved with the S14 Sr20 going into a S13? anyways. i just need to know about how much i pay for labor on installing it, and also.... do the S15 fenders, hood, bumper.ect all blot onto the S13? or do i need to go buy that stupid package for like 3G's... sorry if i sound like some dipshit. everyhtign i know is for hondas... i just miss my nissan (maxima) and i wanna come back to the nissan family. i am just looking as fast and hard as i can to find information about everything.... so please! someone help me out!

Deleted by Jeff. Absolutly uncalled for. Answer the question, or dont post! But certainly, DO NOT dissuade people from posting on and joining Zilvia. This is not your board. You are not a moderator.

If you only have 3000 to spend, you won't even get the motor in, unless you already have all tools needed, and get an exceptionally nice clip.
For the S15 silvia front end, you're looking to spend close to 2,000 in parts, and still more for labor since they're not bolt-on (unless you get autoimaging's fenders). Give us some info on your teg... are you sure the sil80 was racing? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]()

Try the Archive and FAQ section of this forum. I know that there is stuff on the s15 conversion in there. Also srswap.com has a lot on the engine swap.

This is a mess. What the hell is wrong with you people. He owns an Integra. So does my friend. Leave him the hell alone! He used to own a Maxima. Who the fuck made the 240sx the car of gods?
Anyway... To answer your question. It would be much cheaper to install the SR yourself if you can... otherwise you will be paying nearly $1400 (unstable-hybrids.com rate for the swap). Also, the motor doesn't really matter. It is about the same ammount of complication. You will not get body panels with a clip from most places... and if you do, you certainly won't want to put them on your car. You will either need that $3k kit for the s15 front, or at the very least, buy new fenders from Masa or anyone else that you can find them from. Sorry about the asses on this forum. This post is locked. -Jeff
