ok, hopefully no one will be a jerk and give dumbass answers, but i've been researching for awhile and kinda want to know a couple things.
1. Who makes the best S14 to S15 Conversion Fenders? Any of them made out of carbon fiber or metal? 2. What all needs to be done to make the OEM metal Fenders work? 3. Could you modify the S14 OEM fenders to work? I want to end up with the best look, but i want as much strength as possible. Also when I say S14 I'm talking about a 95' 240sx which I think is the S14b |

Jerk Mode answer: USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!
1. masa motorsports japan. you can get them for autoimaging.com too i believe (same ones?) 2. oem s15 fenders? lots of fab work (mounting points, fitment etc). 3. yes. weld oem s15 fenders with oem s14 fenders best look and strenght? probalby weldingthem together. better then fiberglass but buying OEM s15 fenders is not cheap. then having them welded together w/ your s14 fenders isnt cheap too. and buying the conversion ones (like autoimaging) is cheapest best of luck oh fyi: you got the s14b part right. BUT you might want to refer it to as zenki s14 (95-96). people get anal about it. but you got it right. |

Can't really say who makes the BEST fenders, but http://www.speedalliance.com has some really good, perfect fit fenders for $625 SHIPPED.
OEM metal S15 fenders require custom work (cutting and welding). You can always go my route and do the Kouki (97-98) front end conversion. It's cheaper, easier and you have metal fenders. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]()

<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() Agreed, its cost effective and LOOKS GREAT! S14.5 isn't really my thing, but looks ok. I just prefer Kouki front end when it comes to S14's. I'm still waiting for paint money and then I will get to doing the front end, but not a big rush. Gt specR, you lucky punk, want to donate to "Kanekz's front end charity"? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]()

Chris was even nice enough to travel about 1 hr away to drop it off at a friends house for me. for free!! cant beat that kind of service. 2. u need to do some welding i believe. also becuz ull have a big gap u need to get that fixed too. also dont forget that there is a line running accross the top of the s14 and runs thru the rear fenders thru the door and to the fender. the s15 doesn thave that line. the s15 has a line at the bottom. so it will look weird. wont match up, but ull have metal 3. i dont think u can. since the side corners are bigger and rounder than the s15. plus the s15 is 1 piece unlike the s14 which is 2 piece. u can always mod and bondo it i think. strength = metal if you dont know where to shop around to get cheap prices, buy a kit, if u do, i suggest u piecing it together. people say it will cost more but i have papers to prove it is it. i got my headlights fender bumper for about 1.7gz shipped..a kit cost 2.5gz+SH..so in other words..i got to choose up to a 800 dollar bumper, for it to equal 2.5gz. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() so dont believe people when they say a kit is cheaper than piecing it together. u can take it from me, since im doing it. of course ur results may vary but yea. next time use a search |

I agree w/ silviadriver, It isn't always cheaper to get the kit. It is however faster and easier. If you have the time to search and do the homework though U usually can get things cheaper. The nice thing about the fiberglass fenders is that they have a closer match to the line of the s14, unlike the metal s15's but I f I had the $$ I would get s15 metal fenders and have them cut and welded w/ the s14 fenders so I got the matching line as close as poss and still had the metal fenders. My strawberry face has fiberglass fenders. pic in sig
