![]() 89-90 sohc gauge cluster so if u have sr20det u must do a dohc or jdm gauge cluster
tools needed 1. screwdriver 2. 12mm socket (for the removal of the bolts of steering colum) 3. ratchet^^ 1. remove the kick panel under the steering wheel 5 screws 2. remove all the plugs to the popup buttons, emergency lights, etc. 3. remove (2) 12mm bolts on ur steering column ( it allows to have more room to work with) 3. now u can adjust the lever of ur steering wheel to drop it all the way down so u can remove the bezel ( the thingy with all the buttons lol) 4. ur gauge cluster will have 3 screws one on top and (2) to the side 5. slowly pull the gauge cluster toward u and not too hard u dont wanna F* up the plugs on the back of it 5. unplug all the plugs from behind the sohc gauge cluster and plug em into ur jdm gague cluster 6. now screw everything back in in the order it was and ur done! okay well if this has already been explained feeel free to delete i was just trying to give some info. since when i searched it came up empty... |

Alrighty, I need to pull my gauge cluster to see if it if the culprit of some of my other issues. Here's the question, I've done this before but can't seem to get it done with out breaking the plastic bezel. Anyone have any pointers on how to get that thing off with out cracking it????

Just remove the 2 bolts closest to the steering wheel, remove them completly, but not the ones furthust away, keep them on the threads still, just leave enough slack for you to work with.
